Abstract :
In this paper we propose a resource allocation framework in the uplink of Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. The uplink of the LTE system uses Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) scheme to serve multi-user capability in wireless communication system. Power and packet delay are two important issues in selecting an appropriate scheduling strategy for a communication system. The goal of this paper is to provide an approach that selects optimum delay and power allocation simultaneously. This work assumes three different data types for each user. The scheduler utilizes channel and queue state information to assign sub-carriers and packets to all users.
