Abstract :
Future generations ensuing expectations will exert integration of heterogeneous networks. Networks ought to prefer seamless handoff. A Node in mobility changes its point of contact when moves from one cell to another which has to be done uniquely. This is termed as vertical handoff. Handoff control amongst different networks has become a major issue. Several handoff algorithms has been proposed for seamless handoff. This paper proposes a new Decision making algorithm based on Analytical Network process and Ordered weighted Averaging algorithm for network selection based on different criteria. Rankings are assured by AHP method and weights are ordered decreasingly and processed in reference to Linguistic quantifiers.
