Abstract :
The main contribution of this paper is an analysis of requirements for a wind power infeed model used in a power system simulator from a meteorological viewpoint. Following to an introduction to the electrical grid situation the influences on wind power infeed is presented. Subsequently, related models are discussed. Further, available data sources for wind data sets will be analyzed. The paper is concluded by a short summary.
