Abstract :
Resonance phenomena arising in circuits containing ultracapacitors are discussed in the paper. Ultracapacitor like a device based on the diffusion phenomenon force different dynamic compare to the dynamic of traditional capacitor which has huge influence for all good known relation in circuits. In the article the shift of the resonance frequency, due to the ultracapacitor presence in a circuit, is investigated. Also the difference between the resonance frequency and the frequency for a minimum circuit impedance is discussed. A problem of the ultracapacitor resonance frequency solved in this paper can play very important role in the design process of power electronic systems, for example in choosing a switching frequency.
