Abstract :
Today, different cloud providers are used and many companies don´t want to be tied to one provider and should use more than one. Consequently, there is a need for ensuring data portability between the clouds because of data in the cloud must be shared and manipulated by multiple applications on multiple platforms. In this paper, we´ll propose an agent-based architecture that facilitates collaboration among cloud providers. We´ll also aim to overcome the lock-in issues in Cloud computing, and try to ensure the data portability between the providers. Our architecture is based on mobile agents that allow researching, collecting and transferring data from one cloud to another one by their ability to move between different environments.
