Abstract :
In the paper a planar model (30-by-30 μm in size) of a band-pass filter, based on 2D photonic crystal with fractal inner structure has been considered. The frequency selectivity of this filter is due to its complex geometry, built on the base of "Sierpinski carpet" plane three-order fractal. The filter has been PC-simulated on TE electromagnetic waves in a band of wavelengths between 5 and 200 μm.
