Abstract :
Barrage Relay Networks (BRNs) is a kind of novel network paradigm which is proposed for tactical networks. Compared to MANETs, it has less latency, lower overhead and stronger robustness. In this paper, we analyze the specific communication mechanism of BRN from a security perspective, study a new form of the blackhole attack in BRN, and make a improvement in a lightweight end-to-end authentication method B-APPA, put forward a new way of detecting the blackbole attack as well as the solution to defend the attack. Either the detection method or the solution can ensure the communication security on the premise of guaranteeing the performance advantage of BRN.
