Abstract
The paper presents Artificial Neural Network techniques that are used to determine the probability for the detection of breast cancer using feed forward neural networks trained by a back propagation algorithm. During training the back propagation were independently applied to optimize, to evolve inter connecting weights of the ANN´s. This paper explored an ANN using 25 features like (12 patient history, 13 physical findings, 4 mammography findings) and finally the result of the biopsy to determine the probability for the presence of breast cancer.
