Abstract :
This paper introduced color Barcode and its differences with the traditional linear Barcode, 2D Barcode and RFID technology. Lightweight algorithms for encoding and decoding are designed separately. A mobile commerce instance of color Barcode used in traceable anti-forgery and consumer electronics cards is given. Compared with linear barcode, 2D barcode and RFID, color Barcode possesses unparalleled advantages in the mobile commerce applications, such as three-dimensional information carrying capacity and the rich forms of expression. This work will be beneficial to spread the concepts and applications of the color Barcode.
