  • Abstract
With the development of information technology, the emerging new media have profoundly changed the ways of communication. The characteristics of the new media, such as diversity, immediacy, interaction, and prevalence, have brought changes to the communication models of educational management information among college students featured in "generalization," "fragmentation" and so on. Although college managers have realized that college students are lost in the information explosion and have started to improve information coverage through some new media platforms, communication failure still exists. Based on theoretical studies as well as practical surveys, this research identifies the current changes in the communication models of educational management information among college students from the students\´ own perspectives, and puts forward several strategies for improvement designed to lay a foundation for a more effective college education work.
