Abstract :
It is intended to save energy and improve environment by utilization of waste heat from cooling water at power plant. At power plant, water source heat pump process is used to reclaim waste heat. This article addresses principle and advantages of heat pump, as well as actual water source heat pump system and operation mode at certain power plant. This offers grounds for generalization of water source heat pump process for power plant.
