Abstract
This article addresses the main challenges and requirements for the design of the communication network to meet Smart Grid applications of a CELPE (Companhia Energetica de Pernambuco) research project and development situated at Fernando de Noronha island, titled: THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATIONS PROOF OF CONCEPT OF INTELLIGENT NETWORK (IN) PILOT WITH HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL RESTRICTIONS - CASE ISLE OF FERNANDO DE NORONHA (IFN).
