Abstract :
This paper deals with the characterization of magnetic after effect in soft magnetic materials. A classical volt-amperometric technique is properly developed to reconstruct the behavior of magnetic flux density B holding the magnetic field H at xed value. The proposed methodology bases on the reconstruction of the B history starting (terminating) the B - H path from well known and stable initial (final) conditions, such as the saturation region. Experimental results were performed under controlled climatic conditions on a commercial soft ferrite core.
