Abstract
In modern communication systems, satellites are playing a vital role. They are providing many mandatory services such as weather forecast, mobile applications, TV telecast, military applications, etc., Government sectors, NGOs and educational institutions are keen in launching satellites for their self defined purposes. Such satellites being launched can be traced only if a perfect link budget is prepared. The transmitted power has to overcome the noises and attenuations in the space. Else, it will be a waste of investment and the satellite cannot be traced. This paper presents a perfect downlink budget for satellites operating at 2.24GHZ, S-Band frequency at LEO region.
