Abstract :
In this paper, the technique for dispersion measurement of the fibers or any other optical device, using fiber based Mach Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) has been theoretically analysed and remodelled to suit the non-ideal experimental MZI constructed using 2×2 SM couplers. The performance of the experimentally realised MZI has been shown to closely follow the predictions of the remodelled MZI.
