Abstract :
Ever since the rise of technology and communication, the want of security system has also gone up. The indispensable facets of secure data transmission are none other than sheltered, hasty last but not least multifarious cryptosystem. The other dimension of information hiding is steganography. The downside of cryptography is though the secret is cloaked, communication is not rather disguised. For salvation steganography comes into play since the communication here is more obscured. Its prime façade lies in imperceptibility and the eminence of the resultant picture produced. If each of these can do wonders in information hiding separately, think of their blend! That too their unique and different perspective one cannot even think of! One such simple-to-implement yet complex-to-attack technique is what we present here. In this manuscript, without the need of cover the secret image itself undergoes manipulation using either of the two patterns defined and then is transmitted. Thus it draws together what all a secure communication needs. How sturdy this technique is estimated by MSE in discussion section.
