Abstract
A very first myocardial (heart muscle) implantable acceleration prototype-device, using a commercial MEMS accelerometer is presented in this paper. Procedures of design, fabrication, assembly and testing of the prototype are included in detail. Preliminary results of tests based on the regulations for implantable devices have been done successfully. The paper concludes with directions for improving the device.
