Abstract :
Immune system is a subtle physiological mechanism that implicates various genes. NOD2-encoding Card15 , which has a role in pathogen sensing, was investigated in this research to understand its extensiveness of tandem repeats and mutation distribution. Using a bioinformatics approach, mono-, di-, and trinucleotide tandem repeats were analyzed and mutation data were mined. The results of this study provide insights for the development of pharmaceutical strategies against the pathogenesis of Card15-implicated immune diseases.
