  • Abstract
Effective management of material flows in the logistics system cannot be effective without functions information system, which is known for the logistics information system (LIS). The role of the Logistics Information System is to create an environment for the collection, evaluation, coordination and management of logistics activities associated with the management of material flow in the supply chain. The main module of the system is hierarchical balance sheet optimization model (HBOM), which coordinates the system at different levels of management. The logistics information system for makrologistics level is used for support in creating a strategic plan for the company, which extrapolates the annual plan. At the micro level provides support for the management of material flow necessary to fulfill orders from customers - production management. Nanologistics level, respectively. Technology of logistics is through HBOM optimize material flow simulation and technical and technological changes in the production process.
