Abstract :
Conceptual model for mechatronic system design presented in formal basis of hierarchical systems is given in the paper. The model allows the connected descriptions of a system structure, its dynamic representation as the unit in its environment, system environment and its coordination (design & control) processes. Numeric and geometric characteristics of objects being designed are taken into account. The example of conceptual model concretization in the process of active magnetic bearing design is given in the paper.
