Abstract :
Time-delay and nonlinear characteristics of the wind turbine system lead to the instability in its output power. The traditional control method in the variable pitch system is difficult to get ideal control effect. In the paper, the fuzzy PID control method is studied and the variable pitch parameter self-setting fuzzy PID controller is designed. The simulation results show that the latter can reach a better control effect. Based on the fuzzy PID controller, a new type of variable pitch system control method is proposed, which combines fuzzy feedforward and fuzzy PID. The simulation results show that the new method can effectively reduce the system overshoot, shorten the regulating time and reach a more satisfactory control effect.
