Abstract :
The 3DOF helicopter system is a multi-variable and strong coupled system. This paper is concerned with input-output energy decoupling and presents a new input-output energy decoupling conditions for 3DOF helicopter system. The previous methods achieve input-output energy decoupling in entire frequency range and often with additional conditions, which is not completely adopted to practical situation. Therefore, it is necessary to achieve input-output energy decoupling in a finite frequency range and without additional conditions. The new input-output energy decoupling conditions are proposed in this paper as a finite-dimensional convex optimization problem described by linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to solve this problem, which is with less conservatism. The algorithm is applied to 3DOF helicopter system and the simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed new decoupling methods.
