Abstract :
A single-ended LNA for short-range UWB 2229 GHz automotive radar receiver is designed and fabricated in CMOS 0.13 μm RF process. The single-ended LNA uses a feedback LC network for stability. The input and output matching networks are based on L-matching topology. The circuit achieves a gain of 8.2 dB and a noise figure of 3.6 dB at the center frequency of 24.1 GHz. A gain flatness of the single-ended LNA is about 1.1 dB is achieved in the 23 - 25.2 GHz range. It covers an area of approximately 850 μm × 660 μm and total power consumption of the circuit is 23.2 mW.
