Abstract :
Current source is one of the basic building blocks of analog VLSI systems. Here we design a novel structure of current source in AMS 0.35 μm technology. T-Spice simulation results confirm the high precision of the proposed circuit. In fact, we achieved a maximum error of 0.5%, a high large band of linearity between -1.1V and 0 V. In addition our new circuit allowed us a low input impedance of 961Ω and a high output A B impedance of 0.18 MΩ. Eventually we have also succeeded in obtaining a gain band width (GBW) equal to 80MHz and 60 dB gain (Av) at ±1.5V supply voltage.
