Abstract :
For mobile localization, one of the main difficulties is how to obtain the targets´ locations quickly and accurately. In this paper, by exploring the characteristics of mobility model, we propose an Adaptive Multidimensional scaling-dependent Weighting based Sequential Monte Carlo (AMW-SMC) method for mobile localization. The main feature of the AMW-SMC method is speeding-up the localization process while preserving high precision on the results. Simulations using synthetic moving traces and experiments using real moving traces with NanoPAN5375RF motes are presented in this paper to validate the performance of the proposed AMW-SMC method.
