  • Abstract
Cereal-Qi, which was derived from cereal essence, transformed by the spleen and stomach, and maintained the activities of human beings by nourishing 5 Zang and 6 Fu. Based on analyzing of the metabolism of substance and energy, in this paper hemodynamic model describing Cereal-Qi´s transportation inside human body was set up. The results of the model showed the abnormality of energy substances´ (protein, sugar, fat) absorption or metabolism would lead to the change of nutrition´s concentration in blood, and lead to syndromes of Spleen Qi-Deficiency (SQD), such as the decrease in blood protein´s concentration (Cp), the increase in volume of tissue-fluid (Vi) and the increase in the production of lactic acid (Wlact), which were identical to clinical researches.
