Abstract
This paper focuses on the distributed control problem for a type of Chinese High Speed Train with a longitudinal dynamic model . By introducing new vectors, we build a local subsystem for every coach. Then we classify a group of neighbourhood subsystems according to the relationships between the coach and other coaches. Based on the neighbourhood systems, we propose a neighbourhood optimization function and design a distributed model predictive controller. A numerical simulation by MATLAB is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
