Abstract
Metasurfaces constitutes a class of thin metamaterial layers able to modify the propagation path and dispersion properties of surface waves. In this paper we analyse the interaction process between the impedance surface realized by the metasurface and surface waves in order to realize leaky wave antennas with polarization capabilities.
