Abstract
In this work, for application to miniaturization of RF components on MMIC(Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit), RF characteristics transmission lines employing various periodic structures on silicon semiconducting substrate were investigated. Concretely, attenuation constant, wavelength, and propagation constant of the transmission lines were investigated. According to the results, PAGS (periodically arrayed ground strip) structure employing with-contact and non-slot showed shorter wavelength and better RF performances than other structures.
