Abstract :
In this paper, we present a design of a coplanar waveguide loaded with array of rotational circular split ring resonators for stop band applications. The present design is based on theoretical formulation of the resonant frequency of the rotational circular SRRs. A prototype is fabricated and the experimental results compared with simulation results are reported revealing good agreement. The proposed configuration can be used to design compact multi notch filters and stop band filters with higher rejection bandwidth.
