  • Abstract
    Although the guidelines have been issued for millimeter-waves to prevent excessive heating in tissue at or near the surface, there is not enough biological and medical knowledge on the thermal sensation by millimeter-waves. We investigated the dependence on spot size and exposure time to the threshold of the thermal sensation by 60 GHz millimeter-wave with five normal volunteers.
