Abstract :
In the past, we obtained the k -β diagram applying FDTD method by Floquet´s theorem at the periodic structure and the computed periodic structure waveguide with thick inductive iris by 2D-FDTD. In this paper, we considered the case of thick capacitive iris. In this case, waveguide structure changes according to the height direction so that this analysis is expanded to a three-demensional. We calculated it by 3D-FDTD and obtained the k - β diagram. In addition, the characteristic was clarified by specifying the parameters to each dimension.
