Abstract :
The paper addresses ways to design typical predictive control algorithms and analyzes and compares the proposed algorithms with traditional ones. Replacement of standard algorithms for control of variables in power engineering plants by predictive algorithms is found to considerably improve the control performance and put microprocessors to more efficient use.
