Abstract :
Currently the data management and data exchange in the transport sector is affected by several different data models. There are major differences especially between data models for individual and public transport. In many cases the contents of different data models are semantically similar or even equal. So the idea of the approach described here is to combine these models together within an ontology with the goal to do an intermodal data processing additional to the intermodal data exchange.
