Abstract :
Using wireless sensor networks in residential building electrical monitoring changes the style of wire-based measurement and facilitates the design of the system. The wireless communication mode takes new problems such as the transmission efficiency and energy consumption of data transmission. To solve these problems, this paper discusses the characteristics of the network topology for energy measurement, and designs a communication protocol based on hierarchical ant colony algorithm. The protocol combines the idea of network hierarchical transmission and the ant colony algorithm. To achieve the efficient collection of data, the transmission efficiency is the first optimized object and the transmission energy consumption is also taken into account. System simulation and experimental results verify the reliability and feasibility of the designed algorithm.
