Abstract :
Network virtualization makes it possible for Ethernet to distinguish between different customer network traffic in the provider network. Virtualization is also necessary for cloud services in a data center network. In this paper, we designed and implemented on NS-3 (open source simulator) an experimental Shortest Path Bridging (SPB, IEEE 802.1aq) protocol designed for meshed network like data center. Modified version of Floyd-Warshall algorithm is used to compute the route. In order to show simulator´s capability, the basic function of SPBM (SPB Mac-in-Mac) is simulated. In addition, All nodes have objects for Intermediate System to Intermediate System (ISIS).
