Abstract :
In order to improve the poor universality and flexibility of the multidisciplinary simulation models in a complex simulation system, a universal simulation control service based on High Level Architecture (HLA) is presented in this paper. By analyzing the simulation process and designing a control federate, the simulation control service could integrate heterogeneous models, encapsulate their input-output interface and realize the simulation description, simulation deployment and simulation process. Furthermore, a simulation system with integration advantage and expansibility was developed. Finally, the outcomes of the research were applied to a practical project which proved that the universal simulation control service based on HLA can be an effective way to build multidisciplinary distributed simulation systems.
