  • Abstract
    A temporomandibular joint prosthesis system was locally developed, the system´s greatest advantages are its capacity to adapt to each patient´s specific needs and the fact that is developed and manufactured locally which allows the health system to have better access to this kind of treatments. The preliminary results of a patient treated with the temporomandibular joint prosthesis developed system are presented.
