Abstract

The Hospital Universitario San Vicente Fundación, towards excellence and quality in the provision of services, since 2009 it designs and implements a politics focus to the management of technologies in health that answers to the needs of the institution. This politic is accompanied by a series of components and a cycle, which defines the guidelines needed to a proper and safe management of technologies on health in the hospital. This paper describes the model of management of technologies in health, adopted by the institution and shows some results obtained from the incorporation of this, to the evaluation of the equipment and biomedical device.
