  • Abstract
    This paper presents a contribution to the personalization of information systems of transportation that are based on the use of ontologies. To meet the increasing demand of accurate information on the part of the users of collective means of transportation and to meet the abundance of data, it is necessary to sort out, select and adapt the obtained information to the users´ needs, thus to personalize them. This work aims at giving the idea about a public transportation domain ontology that considers different concepts related to the best planning for the passenger. Also, we introduce the user profile domain ontology that can be used to make our public transportation information system intelligent.
