Abstract
A dual-band ASK transmitter is implemented using 0.18-um CMOS technology for RFID applications. Injection-lock technique is adopted for carrier synthesis. The transmitter delivers power levels of 2.9 and -0.8 dBm at operating bands of 384-448 MHz and 768-896 MHz, respectively, where phase noises of -124.5 dBc/Hz and -117.0 dBc/Hz are achieved at the offset frequency of 1 MHz.
