Abstract
This study attempts to develop an activity oriented persuasive platform for supporting the relative activities of health promotion on cross-platform devices. Our approach is to modeling users´ context with a systematic framework developed by Activity Theory. Through the proposed human-centered approach, the study can therefore analyze user activities and setting goal to the users according to their physical limitation, psychological states, and social needs. The platform also formulates appropriate persuasive strategies to trigger users´ motivation or behavior. A benchmarking analysis was conduct to compare the proposed system of this study with other two developing persuasive health promotion systems.
