Abstract :
Architecture of push-enabled AMI reference model is proposed in this article. In the model, all actors in the Smart Grid can be treated as object things. When the push-based managerial operations with form of query initiated from head-ends, a Resource Discovery System can analyze the intension of the query and recommend the list of object things meet the criteria. The managerial operation can therefore be either directly sent or semantically/selectively flooded to destination object things. The bi-directional and targeted operations between headends and data concentrators can be implemented in AMI with scalable, flexible and effective manners.
