Abstract :
This paper introduces an improved statistical analysis method to avoid the calculation error in duty cycle distortion jitter analyzing. Statistical analysis method is a very effective algorithm for channel eye diagram calculation and it can include all jitter impaction through the probability distribution function of total jitter, but the result has error when it involves duty cycle distortion jitter, whose reason is explored in this paper. An improvement on the statistical analysis method is proposed and verified for correctly calculating duty cycle distortion jitter.
