Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel post-processing approach that controls the point of focus and depth of field given an all-focused image. We first estimate the depth map through occlusion reasoning. We then apply different defocus blur to the input sharp image based on the estimated depth map. Our experimental results show that the proposed method performs excellently in producing plausible images with focus-defocus effects.
