Abstract :
A novel encryption method for promoting fingerprint image security employing chaotic amplitude phase frequency model (APFM) nonlinear adaptive filter is proposed. Our encryption algorithm can successfully pass the NIST SP 800-22a tests. The proposed encryption scheme shows fine cryptographic properties on randomness.
