Abstract
In this paper, an inverted S-shaped multi frequency patch antenna is proposed for X-band applications. The antenna encompasses of two rectangular slots on patch , two elliptical slots on the ground plane and its exciting by a 50 Ω probe feed technique. By employing two rectangular slots which change the rectangular patch as opposite S shaped patch antenna operating in triple resonance frequency is presented. The simulated 10-dB return loss bandwidths for lower, middle and upper bands are 4.30%, 4.08% and 2.61% with respect to 9.08 GHz, 11.00 GHz and 11.86 GHz respectively. The proposed multi frequency antenna is presented and discussed in detail.
