  • Abstract
This paper presents the numerical simulations of wire type dual band loaded Inverted-L antenna for 3.35GHz mobile WiMAX and 5.5 GHz Wi-Fi operation. The outcome of work is a dual band loaded ILA designed with two separate bandwidth(3300 - 3450) MHz and (5450-5550) MHz. Total area occupied by the antenna is 23 mm × 27 mm. The main intention of this research is to propose a multiband loaded ILA for multi-serving with the same antenna. In addition, the proposed antennas have achievable bandwidth, return loss, and radiation characteristics. Effective antenna design involves reduced antenna size and greater bandwidth and satisfactory gain. As the dimensions of the proposed antennas are very small, the antennas are promising to be embedded within the different portable devices employing Wi-Fi and mobile WiMAX applications.
