Abstract :
Watermarking videos have been explored extensively in the recent past. In our work, we are proposing a biometric based watermarking scheme to embed a fingerprint into a HD video for authentication. Using the idea from existing techniques, we arrive at an effective solution capable of handling extreme attacks such as resizing and cropping. In this direction, we propose a method to use binary feature vector corresponding to the fingerprint as a watermark together with Singular Value Decomposition. Further, error correction codes are used to provide robustness and syndrome decoding is adopted to arrive at the authenticity of the Watermark. Our initial study and results presented in the paper suggest that the proposed solution can provide a good starting point towards arriving at a foolproof system in terms of robustness and security.
