  • Abstract
The condenser circulating water system task is to effectively extract heat from the steam cycle and release it to the environment, thereby cooling condenser water [6]. A natural draft dry cooling tower (Heller Type) is one of the most widely used types of systems. Studies show that generally, any increasing crosswind speed causes Heller cooling tower performance to decrease. Hence the use of windbreak walls and flue gas injection into tower is proposed to reduce these effects and to create better suction. Calculation results show that flue gas injection into tower and using windbreak walls significantly increase exchanged heat of cooling tower.
